The service

VettingLabs provides independent scoring and assessment of smart contracts, tokens and DeFi protocols (“Scores”) together with written reports. Each Score is a 0–100 number built from four published, weighted dimensions (Code Security 40%, Centralization 25%, Economics 20%, Provenance 15%) under a versioned methodology (currently Score v1.2).

Scores are an opinion, not advice

A Score is our independent professional assessment of public information and code at the time of evaluation. It is not financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, hold or sell any asset. Nothing on this site creates an advisor–client relationship.

No guarantees

Scores are based on information available to us at evaluation time. We do not warrant that a Score is accurate, complete or free of error, that no vulnerabilities exist in a scored contract, or that no future incident will occur. A high score does not make an asset safe; a low score does not make it unsafe.

Reports and the public index

Reports are delivered as PDF documents for your personal use by you or your organization. Entries in the public index (protocol name, address, chain, score, band, date) may be read and linked freely with attribution to VettingLabs. The methodology, reports and this site remain our intellectual property.

Payment and refunds

Services are paid in cryptocurrency (USDT). Fees are non-refundable once scoring of your request has started. The free re-check included in the PROTOCOL package applies after you deploy fixes for findings we reported, within 90 days of delivery.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or losses incurred in trading.

Changes

We may update the methodology (each version is published and versioned) and these terms. Continued use of the service after changes means acceptance of the new terms.
